The Branson Academy for the Advancement of Music and Theatre will provide a performing arts Summer Session for instruction, improvement and networking in the performance arts.

The “BAAMT Academy for Performance Arts and Industry” is a Missouri non-profit corporation and an organized IRS 501 institution. We provide deeply qualified faculty members with impressive resumés and copious professional experience on stage.

Attendees will study and learn from top pros. Students of BAAMT Academy have the opportunity to improve in their various disciplines through instruction, example and live performance.

A typical day at BAAMT Academy starts with our “Morning Jam!” We begin each day with breakfast and fellowship for a 30 minute discussion of that day is scheduled. Our students make “friends for life” in this shared environment of similar interests. This social interaction can provide contacts that will be fundamental to their successful career in the Arts. And that’s just the way the starts!

Each of the five days of classes, Monday through Friday, will deliver intensive study within the disciplines through a curated approach of group and individualized focus from our instructors. Class schedules will be assigned upon arrival and a live audition to determine the appropriate flights for varying levels of experience. BAAMT Academy offers the opportunity for performance improvement at all levels of budding talent and desire.

Master Classes are also available at BAAMT Academy. Professional Instructors and working Artists will share their secrets to success. Theses “add-on” classes can provide the skills they need to take it to the next level. On stage performance, auditioning like a pro, building your own home recording studio, the business of show business and much more await those who wish to dig a little deeper.

On Saturday, your student will participate in an all school revue. An original stage show, produced by our coaches and students working together to showcase what they have learned over the past week. This “ticketed” production is the culmination of a week of intensive study in the profession show business, from the back of the house to the front…

The BAAMT Academy experience is limited to Jr high and High School aged kids, from 12 to 19 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who can stay in or near Branson for the one week run of classes. Children will bunk with their parent or guardian, BAAMT does not provide lodging but does have special rates at several lodging establishments.
